Estudia los vínculos entre política y justicia en el espacio rioplatense durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Actualmente su proyecto de investigación versa sobre el Superior Tribunal de Justicia de la provincia de Buenos Aires durante el período 1821-1857, al cual se aborda en el marco de las nuevas perspectivas producidas por la renovación de la historia política, la historia crítica del derecho y las corrientes neo-institucionalistas.
