Sus investigaciones más recientes se centran en el análisis de las políticas de conservación de biodiversidad especialmente en las áreas naturales protegidas marino-costeras , los conflictos ambientales y la educación ambiental. En estas temáticas, ha dirigido y dirige tesis de la Licenciatura en gestión ambiental de la UTN-FRMDP.
