Mi investigación está enfocada en el área de procesamiento de señales médicas, inició como trabajo final de grado, con el procesamiento y análisis de señales electrocardiográficas. Luego, la temática de trabajo se dirigió al estudio de señales Electroencefalográficas (EEG) de invasivas y de superficie. Particularmente, para la detección, predicción y cuantificación de epilepsia en el EEG. Además, participo en el desarrollo de técnicas avanzadas de procesamiento de señales que permiten detectar somnolencia en el EEG. Así como también, la implementación de algoritmos en Interfaces Cerebro Computadora. Se ha logrado consolidar un grupo de trabajo en el área de procesamiento de señales EEG con vistas a desarrollar dispositivos que puedan usarse en la solución de las temáticas descriptas.
