Mi experiencia en investigación surge a partir de un enfoque inmunológico de la problemática del trasplante de órganos sólidos. En los últimos años hemos publicados trabajos de inmunología básica principalmente de respuesta inmune innata. Ademas publicamos trabajos que evalúan el estado inmunológico de pacientes trasplantados. En estos momentos mi mayor interés esta enfocado al desarrollo de órganos bioartificiales que permitan aumentar el numero de trasplantes. Los órganos bioartificiales los ... En estos momentos mi mayor interés esta enfocado al desarrollo de órganos bioartificiales que permitan aumentar el numero de trasplantes. Los órganos bioartificiales los obtenemos mediante la técnica de decelularización en riñones por detergentes y nos encontramos evaluando distintos protocolos de recelularización. Las técnicas que manejo, son cultivo celular, técnicas de microcirugía en pequeños animales, ELISA, Citometria de flujo,técnicas histologías e inmunohistoquímica.
