En mi tesis de licenciatura trabajé en biorremediación de cromo con levaduras, adquirí conocimientos básicos de microbiología y utilicé diversos equipos (espectrofotómetros, balanzas analíticas, centrifugas, cubas de electroforesis, liofilizadores, desecadores etc.). En mi tesis de licenciatura trabajé en biorremediación de cromo con levaduras, adquirí conocimientos básicos de microbiología y utilicé diversos equipos (espectrofotómetros, balanzas analíticas, centrifugas, cubas de electroforesis, liofilizadores, desecadores etc.). Mi tesis doctoral, biorremediación de colorantes sintéticos por levaduras, implicó aprender diversas técnicas analíticas: HPLC, GS-MS, FT-IR; 2D-PAGE. Con el fin de escalar el proceso, adquirí experiencia en el uso y manejo de biorreactores. Mis estudios postdoctorales fueron sobre hongos y levaduras de Antártida Argentina, como parte de esto realicé varias Campañas Antárticas de Verano en base Carlini, donde trabajé en el aislamiento y selección de hongos y levaduras, para caracterizar la biota de eucariotas inferiores en la zona, y para buscar microorganismos con características de interés biotecnológico. Actualmente soy Investigadora Adjunta Conicet en Instituto Antártico Argentino y responsable de la linea de micología del grupo Microbiología Ambiental Antártica.
