Desde inicios de mi doctorado me he dedicado al estudio de las interacciones entre el sistema inmune y el sistema endócrino en el contexto de una enfermedad infecciosa crónica como la tuberculosis. La complejidad de la red de interacciones que se establece en estos contextos requiere de ensayos tanto in vitro como ex vivo, principalmente cultivo de líneas celulares y células mononucleares de pacientes con la patología, para loego, por diversas técnicas (pcr cuantitativa, ELISA, citomet´ria de flujo, inmunotransferencia, inmunofluorescencia, etc) poder conocer la respuesta establecida a través de diferentes mediadores. A su vez, en los últimos años me he ededicado al estudio de una subfamilia de receptores nucleares (NR4As) en el contexto de enfermedades infecciosas crónicas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
