Habiéndome desempeñado como geologo en actividades aplicadas a problemáticas hidrogeológicas y de prospección de recursos minerales durante los primeros años de mi carrera profesional decidí especializarme en una rama particular de la geología de yacimientos, el control estructural sobre las mineralizaciones vetiformes. Para ello he llevado adelante una investigación como parte de mi tesis doctoral en el distrito minero Mina Gonzalito, provincia de Río Negro (Patagonia - Argentina). Durante mi trabajo como becario posdoctoral he investigado procesos volcánicos Mesozoicos en la Patagonia Norte los cuales tienen una estrecha relación con los procesos de mineralización de esa comarca. Además, he articulado esta actividad con la docencia en diferentes unidades académicas universitarias de prestigio. Aspectos destacables dentro de mi formación y habilidades son: el mapeo geológico-estructural regional y de detalle, análisis de estructuras tectónicas; petrografía; geocronología y geología isotópica; análisis de datos geoquímicos; confección y trabajo en sistemas de información geográfica. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
