En mi Doctorado (Lab. de Bioquímica del Estrés Oxidativo, España) utilicé técnicas bioquímicas, moleculares, proteómicas en eucariotas inferiores (levaduras) y superiores (cultivos celulares). Durante mi beca Post-Doctoral (Lab. de Biotecnología Fúngica, PROIMI, Tucumán) trabajé en las vías metabólicas implicadas en la biorremediación de metales pesados en levaduras potencialmente útiles para la biorremediación de metales pesados. Actualmente (Lab. de Aguas y Suelos, INIQUI, Salta) en el estudio y caracterización de microorganismos aislados de ambientes hipersalinos del NOA: en relación al metabolismo del Li y a su capacidad de removerlo de soluciones acuosas/salmueras; en la búsqueda de metabolitos secundarios y moléculas (biosurfactantes, carotenoides, EPS, antibióticos, antifúngicos); a las interacciones bacteria-planta por su capacidad de promover el crecimiento vegetal de especies de interés del NOA en suelos salinos. Dichos estudio están orientados a diversas aplicaciones biotecnológicas, agronómicas y en la salud humana por parte de los microorganismos extremófilos estudiados. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
