Mi experticia profesional se basa en técnicas asociadas al estudio de la función mitocondrial, la producción de radicales libres, la actividad y expresión de antioxidantes y el análisis de la bioenergética celular en modelos animales asociados a patologías de neurodegeneración y exposición a drogas de abuso. Particularmente, es de gran interés profundizar en los mecanismos por los cuales la exposición aguda a etanol (alcoholismo agudo) altera la función mitocondrial y la bioenergética celular en los terminales sinápticos en el Sistema Nervioso Central. Asimismo, mi experticia en CyT comprende el estudio y análisis del comportamiento en diversos modelos experimentales de neurotoxicidad en animales de laboratorio. Los grandes módulos de esta temática abarcan la función motora (locomoción, exploración, ataxia y coordinación neuromuscular), comportamientos afectivos (respuesta de símil-ansiedad y depresión), anhedonia y respuestas reflejas frente a estímulos de dolor. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
