Mi interés general de investigación tiene que ver con las formas y prácticas de producción y circulación del saber experto en aquellos ámbitos organizados burocráticamente, ya sea adentro o afuera de la estructura estatal. Mi campo de especialización ha sido el estudio de la práctica judicial, abordada desde una perspectiva sociocultural, que combina las contribuciones teóricas de la antropología jurídica, los estudios de derecho y sociedad, los estudios sociales de la ciencia y tecnología y el pensamiento social contemporáneo.
