En mi laboratorio aplicamos técnicas de biología molecular para estudiar los mecanismos moleculares de resistencia que presentan los hongos patógenos humanos a los antifúngicos. Además, desarrollamos estas mismas técnicas para diagnosticar infecciones micóticas y para identificar taxonómicamente a los hongos patógenos.
