Como profesional del área de Biología Molecular he participado en diversas líneas de investigación, siendo las más recientes: regulación de la respuesta celular a estrés oxidativo en líneas celulares de mamíferos, análisis de la respuesta molecular a estrés salino en Chenopodium quinoa, estudios del patosistema Phakopsora pachyrhizi-Glycine max, y desarrollo de herramientas moleculares mediante el uso de elementos de biología sintética. Mi formación define un perfil en el área de la biología molecular/biotecnología, orientado a la respuesta de los organismos a situaciones de estrés biótico y abiótico. Entre las técnicas mejor dominadas figuran el cultivo de líneas célulares, cultivos primarios de tejido, cultivo y transformación vegetal, y técnicas estándar de biología molecular, como manejo de ADN recombinante, técnicas inmunológicas (inmunohistoquímica, western blot, etc.), reacción en cadena de la polimerasa (PCR, Real Time PCR), transcriptómica, proteómica (geles bidimensionales de poliacrilamida), bioinformática, microscopía confocal y de fluorescencia, y análisis de imágenes. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
