Si bien el área en la cuál cuento mayor experiencia es la sedimentología de depósitos piroclásticos también he desarrollado investigaciones sobre estratovolcanes, calderas volcánicas, volcanes monogénicos, relaciones volcano-tectónica y riesgo volcánico. Por otro lado, he realizado numerosas investigaciones enfocadas en la exploración del recurso geotérmico en noroeste argentino.
