Soy miembro de la carrera de Investigador del CONICET (Inv. Independiente) al cual ingrese en junio del 2016. He trabajado en Virologia desde mi graduacion como veterinario en 1992. He llevado a cabo especializaciones en el tema en Japon, como asi mi doctorado en el mismo pais (Universidad de Tokio). Experiencias postdoctorales en Italia (ISZ, Rome) y trabaje como investigador en USA (Cornell University). Desde el 2009 y hasta el 2016 fui el encargado de la seccion diagnostico del Instituto de Virologia de la Freie Universidad de Berlin, experto designado por la OIE en Influenza y rinoneumonitis equina y lidere proyectos de investigacion. Manejo tecnicas moleculares como PCR, clonaje del DNA, Southern, western and northen blotting, sequenciamiento del DNA, FACS entre otras. Desarrollo nuevas metodologias de diagnostico para enfermedades virales. Manejo el clonaje de los genomas virales utilizando cromosomas artificiales bacterianos, una tecnica que ha facilitado enormemente el estudio de los genes virales y ha contribuido al desarrollo de vacunas recombinantes. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
