Mi investigación se centra en el desarrollo y aplicación de herramientas teóricas para calcular, comprender y diseñar materiales funcionales de interés tecnológico. De manera particular, utilizo diversas herramientas computacionales para la predicción precisa de propiedades químicas y físicas de sistemas moleculares complejos. Mi experiencia incluye el desarrollo de códigos avanzados que simulan la dinámica electrónica de sistemas grandes (miles de átomos) con el fín de describir procesos que ocurren cerca o lejos del equilibrio. Estas técnicas se han aplicado para estudiar el proceso primario de la fotosíntesis, transferencia de carga fotoinducida en materiales fotovoltáicos y transporte electrónico en transitores moleculares. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
