Especializado en el desarrollo investigaciones arqueológicas en la región chaqueña, las cuales contaron con reconocimiento internacional e institucional. Su actividad en la formación de recursos humanos incluye la dirección becarios y tesistas de grado y posgrado. Ha sido, y continúa, evaluador de trabajos científicos presentados en congresos y revistas nacionales e internacionales. Su producción científica supera el centenar de trabajos publicados. Ha dictado cursos en ámbitos nacionales e internacionales y participado activamente en la organización de eventos científicos. Actualmente Profesor titular en la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales de la Universidad Nacional de Catamarca, investigador adjunto (CONICET); docente - investigador III en el marco del Programa de Incentivos a Docentes Investigadores de Universidades Nacionales (Ministerio de Educación de la Nación), dirige un proyecto acreditado UNLP, un PIP CONICET 2021-2023 y forma parte del grupo responsable de un PICT de Agencia I+D+i. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
