Mediante una metodología de trabajo interdisciplinaria he abordado el estudio de caso de los cítricos introducidos en época histórica en el corredor de las Misiones Jesuíticas de las provincia de Misiones (Argentina). He trabajado con fuentes documentales (siglos XVI-XIX), principalmente jesuíticas, para caracterizar el proceso de introducción de los cítricos al área de estudio, sus procedencias y prácticas de manejo pasadas. Asimismo, se ha realizado trabajo de campo en dos departamentos del sur de la provincia de Misiones empleando la metodología etnobotánica (observación participante, entrevistas abiertas, semiestructuradas, cuestionarios y caminatas con los informantes) para estudiar diferentes aspectos locales como la sistematización de los cítricos, sus usos, prácticas de manejo y domesticación del paisaje por parte de los criollos y campesinos. También he realizado estudios morfológicos y micrográficos en frutos cítricos locales con el fin de detectar cambios morfológicos asociados a procesos de domesticación. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
