Actualmente mis actividades continúan con el estudio de BoHV-1 y BoHV-5 y trabajos en colaboración sobre el gamma-herpesvirus, herpesvirus bovino 4 (BoHV-4). Estos trabajos involucran el manejo de cultivos celulares y técnicas virológicas, además de técnicas de biología molecular (extracción de ácidos nucleicos,PCR, RT-PCR, inmunohistoquímica, etc.)Los estudios más recientes con los alfa-herpesvirus bovinos involucran la participación de los mecanismos de la inmunidad innata,particularmente receptores tipo-toll en la patagenia de estos virus.
