Mi área de desarrollo profesional es la arqueología, dentro de la cual en los últimos años me centré en el estudio de sociedades complejas, a partir de la Cultura Aguada de Ambato. Dentro de la misma me focalizo especialmente en los estudios zooarqueológicos y de isotopos estables. También realicé análisis a materiales cerámicos procedentes de contextos agroalfareros de las Sierras Centrales.
