Me dedico al análisis de las fases de deformación asociadas con el levantamiento de los Andes y con el desarrollo de cuencas sedimentarias en general, a partir del análisis de la información geológica de superficie y su integración con información geofísica de métodos potenciales y sísmicos. La finalidad de estos estudios es la confección de modelos tectónicos consistentes que describan y expliquen la geología de cada segmento andino analizado.
