Los "ungulados nativos sudamericanos" reúnen varios grupos de mamíferos extintos que caracterizaron las faunas de gran parte del Cenozoico de América del Sur. Actualmente, me dedico al estudio de estos ungulados de los órdenes Astrapotheria, Notoungulata y Litopterna registrados en la provincia de Entre Ríos, en distintas localidades y niveles estratigráficos y sus relaciones con aquellos representados en otras regiones de Argentina y de América del Sur como Uruguay, Brasil, Colombia y Bolivia. Me desempeño en el campo de la taxonomía, la sistemática, la cladística, la biocronología y la paleobiogeografía. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
