Investigación de ambientes acuáticos lénticos y lóticos. Los estudios que se están realizando están enfocados en dos niveles, un nivel micro, en el cual se estudian las comunidades microbianas acuáticas por medio de atributos funcionales y estructurales, y un nivel macro, estudiando los cuerpos de agua por medio imágenes satelitales.Técnicas que se utilizan: recuento de microorganismos por microscopía de epifluorescencia y determinación de tasas por medios de sondas y por incorporación de sustratos marcados. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
