La actividad se centra en la búsqueda de inhibidores de enzimas relacionadas al metabolismo del ADN; precisamente en el aislado y caracterización de Productos Naturales, como también derivados de síntesis. Para ello utilizamos métodos espectroscópicos como RNM, IR-FT, espectrometría de masas y técnicas de Biología Molecular tales como PCR en sus diversas variantes, clonado, expresión y cultivos celulares. El aporte final se centra en contribuir en el diseño de nuevos "hits" para la búsqueda de moléculas antivirales y antitumorales. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
