He realizado mi doctorado en INCAPE, sobre el área CATÁLISIS HETEROGÉNEA. Durante mi posdoctorado he incurrido en el estudio de métodos computacionales de DFT para evaluar el mecanismo de reacciones. He realizado una estadía posdoctoral en la Universidad de Oklahoma, bajo la supervisión del profesor Dr. Daniel Resasco, estudiando reacciones de valorización de compuestos oxigenados en fase líquida para ser utilizado como fuels, durante el período 2011-2012. Luego de desempeñarme como Investigador asistente y adjunto en INCAPE, he incursionado en otras áreas de la química teórica y en la química supramolecular aplicada al desarrollo de nuevos materiales. Luego de una estancia de entrenamiento en DINÁMICA MOLECULAR y cálculos QMMM en la UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE BARCELONA, aplicado a sistemas catalíticos enzimáticos a nivel molecular, me encuentro trabajando actualmente en el INSTITUTO DE QUÍMICA APLICADA DEL LITORAL (IQAL) estudiando el desarrollo de materiales aplicados a sistemas quimiosensores de metales contaminantes, antimicrobianos y antioxidantes. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
