Estudio la ecología pelágica de distintos predadores tope marinos con la intención de lograr conocer las diversas piezas que componen el gran "rompe cabezas" que representan los ecosistemas marinos patagónicos. Si bien mi interés por el comportamiento animal, allí donde no podemos verlos, en la inmensidad del Océano Atlántico Sudoccidental, es determinante en mi investigación, siento una profunda motivación por generar conocimiento aplicado al manejo y la conservación de dichos ecosistemas. Si bien mi interés por el comportamiento animal, allí donde no podemos verlos, en la inmensidad del Océano Atlántico Sudoccidental, es determinante en mi investigación, siento una profunda motivación por generar conocimiento aplicado al manejo y la conservación de dichos ecosistemas. Por este motivo, me dedico también a investigar los procedimientos epistemológicos y las prácticas académicas, con el objetivo de generar los espacios propicios para la transdisciplina; allí donde los saberes científicos y no-científicos puedan dialogar en armonía en pos de la sustentabilidad socio-ecológica. Estoy formado en el campo de la Filosofía de la Biología y la Ecología Política. Gracias a esto, hoy soy docente universitario de grado y posgrado.
