Mi área de trabajo es la fisiología de árboles, en particular de Salicáceas (álamos y sauces). Estudio el efecto del estrés por sequía e inundación en estas especies, y qué caracteristicas fisiológicas, bioquímicas y genéticas podrían brindar tolerancia a estos estreses.Para este trabajo, utilizo técnicas ecofisiológicas, bioquímicas y de biología molecular.
