Mis investigaciones se centran en entender como el hombre afecta el funcionamiento de los ecosistemas, analizando el intercambio de materia y energía de los ecosistemas desde una perspectiva biogeoquímica. Para ello, realizo trabajos en distintos sistemas productivos, como son la ganadería, la agricultura y las forestaciones, utilizando aproximaciones complementarias que incluyen el uso de modelos de simulación, experimentos de campo, sensores remotos y trazadores isotópicos.
