En líneas generales, a lo largo de mi carrera me he especializado en estrés biótico de plantas, en particular Arabidopsis, y el rol de las poliaminas en este tema. He utilizado una gran cantidad de técnicas, en su mayoría de biología molecular, que abarcan identificación de genes relacionados con estrés biótico, clonado de genes, expresión de genes en plantas, microarreglos, puesta a punto de protocolos de estrés biótico, PCR, PCR en tiempo real, HPLC, entre otras. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
