Desde el inicio de mi carrera como bióloga, me he posicionado en la interfaz entre la biología, la veterinaria y la matemática, impulsando activamente la formación de un grupo interdisciplinario que reúne investigadores en biología, veterinaria, matemática y física. Desde esta perspectiva, abordamos el estudio del bienestar en aves de corral, con un interés particular en cómo los patrones espaciotemporales del comportamiento animal, incluidos los ritmos biológicos (circadianos y ultradianos), s... Desde el inicio de mi carrera como bióloga, me he posicionado en la interfaz entre la biología, la veterinaria y la matemática, impulsando activamente la formación de un grupo interdisciplinario que reúne investigadores en biología, veterinaria, matemática y física. Desde esta perspectiva, abordamos el estudio del bienestar en aves de corral, con un interés particular en cómo los patrones espaciotemporales del comportamiento animal, incluidos los ritmos biológicos (circadianos y ultradianos), son modulados por el entorno y por eventos estresantes durante la cría.En los últimos años, hemos avanzado en la integración de sensores remotos junto con inteligencia artificial (IA), con el objetivo de profundizar en el estudio de la dinámica temporal del comportamiento, con aplicaciones tanto en granjas como en entornos de laboratorio.También, hemos trabajado sobre el uso de la modelización matemática de sistemas complejos biológicos como herramienta para explicar y predecir fenómenos dentro del campo de la bioenergética mitocondrial.
