Mi principal experiencia de investigación se centra en el estudio petrológico, estructural y metalogenético de pegmatitas graníticas y granitoides de las Sierras Pampeanas en ambientes de corteza dúctil a dúctil-frágil. Las metodologías utilizadas fueron el mapeo y descripción geológica, análisis estructural convencional de pegmatitas, granitos y rocas encajantes, geoquímica de roca total y de fases minerales principales en pegmatitas, difracción de rayos X, microscopía electrónica de barrido y microanálisis por sonda de electrones, geocronología (U-Pb en circón y K-Ar en micas), geoquímica y geología de isótopos de Sr, Nd y Pb. Las últimas metodologías se perfeccionaron en estancias de investigación en centros CyT del exterior. Se aplicaron en la discusión sobre la generación, evolución, ascenso y emplazamiento de estos magmas y su relación con la evolución del entorno metamórfico encajante. También trabajé en procesos de metasomatismo tardíos dentro de la historia de evolución de las pegmatitas que concentran los elementos raros de potencial interés económico. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
