El investigador posee experiencia en electrónica de potencia, particularmente en el desarrollo de topologías de conversión y sistemas de control asociados. Los primeros trabajos comprendieron el estudio y desarrollo de filtros activos de potencia destinados a mejorar la calidad de energía en los sistemas de distribución eléctrica. En dicha temática se logró especialización en procesamiento de señales y en la programación de plataformas de control digital (FPGA, DSP, etc). Adicionalmente, el investigador ha trabajado en el desarrollo de fuentes de corriente pulsada para aceleradores de partículas, realizando actividades de transferencia tecnológica con centros de investigación internacionales, European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN, Suiza), European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF, Francia). Actualmente, se esta trabajando en el desarrollo de topologías y sistemas de control para fuentes de energía fotovoltaica, realizando actividades de transferencia tecnológica con empresas de origen nacional e internacional. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
