Mi desarrollo profesional se ha centrado en el campo de la ecología de comunidades, principalmente en ambientes intermareales (marismas, planicies de marea) y pastizales. Para cumplir con los diferentes objetivos he realizado muestreos y experimentos en el campo, generalmente vinculados a entender los procesos que estructuran las comunidades (ej. herbivoría, nutrientes, interacciones positivas, competencia, procesos estocásticos).
