Experiencia en Ecología de Ecosistemas Áridos y Biogeoquímica. Utilizo técnicas químicas, como análisis de iones mayoritarios y minoritarios de agua, isótopos estables de agua, suelos y plantas, análisis de elementos de suelo y vegetación, para inferir procesos ecosistémicos e hidrológicos. El trabajo incluye muestreos y censos de vegetación en campo, incluyendo análisis preliminares con sensores remotos, procesamiento de las muestras in situ, y determinaciones in situ o en laboratorios de los distintos analitos. Además de los análisis químicos, he realizado simulaciones numéricas para validar hipótesis sobre la ecofisiología de ecosistemas áridos, en especial intercambios entre atmósfera y biosfera, y sobre dinámica de asentamientos humanos en zonas áridas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
