Formado en Biología Celular al inicio de mi carrera de Biologia, obtuve titulo al defender mi tesina sobre la dispersion de genes de resistencia a antibioticos en Vibrio cholerae. Durante mi doctorado desarrollé moleculas antisentido hechas con análogos de ácidos nucleicos para silenciar los genes de resistencia. En mi experiencia posdoctoral empleé técnicas de edición de genomas para la reprogramación del tiempo generacional bacteriano, proyecto que continúo actualmente.
