Mis trabajos se han focalizado en investigar las condiciones sinópticas y de mesoscala asociadas a eventos de precipitación sobre la cordillera de los Andes, como así también explorar los procesos físicos atmosféricos y micro-físicos de nubes por el cual la topografía de los Andes favorece el enriquecimiento, supresión o iniciación de las precipitaciones sobre y los alrededores de la cordillera. Mis estudios se han basado en el análisis de datos atmosféricos en grillas globales (reanálisis), en estaciones de superficie y aerológicas, y en datos satelitales, combinados con experimentos numéricos con modelos regionales de la circulación atmosférica. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
