El LIDGen realiza desarrollo e investigación en nuevos kits de detección de agentes patógenos (Salmonella sp., Escherichia coli H7:O157; SARS-CoV2, H1N1, Dengue, HPV) y estudios relacionadas a enfermedades humanas. Los resultados logrados se reflejan en la producción, 19publicaciones científicas, 12 en revistas internacionales con referato; 5 capítulos de libros y 55 trabajos en reuniones científicas nacionales e internacionales. Presento experiencia en docencia y formación de recursos humanos (tesis de grado y doctorado). Proyecto en el área de Biología Molecular, Bioinfomatica, Biotecnología, Genética y Fisiología Microbiana.
