Tiene un interés general en la organización geográfica y tecnológica de sociedades cazadoras-recolectoras de Patagonia. Desde 2010 dirige un proyecto de investigación en Arqueología y Paleoecología en el norte de la Provincia de Neuquén (Argentina), sur de Sudamérica. El marco para esta investigación es biogeográfico y evolutivo, e implica una perspectiva comparativa con otras regiones del mundo, principalmente el desierto de Australia. Los principales temas que trabaja en el marco de este proyecto son: 1) Biogeografía humana en el norte de Neuquén: distribución macro-regional de poblaciones humanas a través del tiempo. Un programa regional de prospección, excavación y datación radiocarbónica actualmente en marcha contribuye a evaluar estos temas. 2) Arqueometría y obsidianas: caracterización geológica, geoquímica y arqueológica de obsidianas. 3) Zooarqueología e isótopos estables: estudios isotópicos de δ13C, δ15N y δ18O en muestras humanas de Patagonia y Pampa. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
