Doctora en Historia por la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. La actividad profesional se ha centrado particularmente en el campo de la historia colonial americana (período de contacto hispano-indígena y siglos XVI y XVII; en menor medida s. XVIII). La producción intelectual se sitúa en las problemáticas ligadas a las sociedades indígenas de contacto, sociedades coloniales tempranas, incluyendo temáticas ligadas a las relaciones interétnicas, la economía colonial, mestizaje, prácticas y usos de la justicia. Posee muy buen conocimiento en la paleografía y diplomática americana y participa de proyectos relacionados con el patrimonio archivístico y documental. Su labor de investigación siempre ha estado vinculada a equipos interdisciplinarios de manera que puede mantener diálogo y trabajar con profesionales provenientes de otras áreas del conocimiento, incorporar nuevas metodologías de trabajo y formular propuestas innovadoras. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
