Mi área de desempeño principal es la dinámica de fluidos, en particular flujos interfaciales (donde los efectos de tensión interfacial juegan un rol central). Los problemas que he abordado son relevantes a distintos procesos tecnológicos (formación de recubrimientos y de sprays). Otra área de interés es la biomecánica y los fenómenos de transporte en sistemas biológicos.La aproximación a estos problemas ha sido principalmente teórico-computacional. Es decir, el análisis suele iniciarse mediante la formulación de un modelo que luego se resuelve numéricamente, siendo el método de elementos finitos la herramienta que más frecuentemente he utilizado. Los resultados que se obtienen son comparados con determinaciones experimentales, en la gran mayoría de los casos por otros autores. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
