Mi area de trabajo es la Cinética y Fotoquímica en fase gaseosa con particular interés en la química atmosférica. En estos temas realizo tanto estudios experimentales como teóricos.Las técnicas experimentales en las que me he especializado incluyen la fotólisis flash con láser combinada con diferentes técnicas de detección como la espectroscopía de absorción, la fluorescencia atómica resonante y la fluorescencia inducida por láser. Además he trabajado con un fotoreactor estático combinado con detección de los compuestos por espectroscopia infrarroja con transformadas de Fourier (RR-FTIR) y con la técnica de descarga en tubo de flujo combinada con espectrometría de masas. Por otro, para abordar estudios cinéticos y fotoquímicos de forma teórica tengo experiencia en estudios mecano-cuánticos, empleando métodos ab initio y de funcionales de la densidad, asi como en estudios cinéticos teóricos mediante la teoría de reacciones unimoleculares, el modelo de canales estadísticamente adiabáticos (SACM) y la teoría del estado de transición. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
