Realizo investigaciones en ecología de poblaciones y de comunidades, centrándome en la vegetación nativa de bosques estacionales y en los potenciales efectos de diferentes usos de la tierra (como ganadería, incendios y aprovechamiento forestal). En estos ambientes perturbados, exploro aspectos tanto básicos como aplicados, con el objetivo de generar información útil para la restauración ecológica. Utilizo análisis multivariados, modelos lineales generalizados e inferencia estadística básica, además de técnicas de campo para estimar la biodiversidad y la productividad primaria neta aérea en sistemas boscosos y pastizales. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
