Durante mi carrera científica me he especializado en el estudio de la diodiversidad, como taxónomo de insectos acuáticos, y trabajando a su vez en cladismo basado en morfología. Domoino técnicas de colecta, fijación, montaje y determinación de artrópodos. Actualmente me estoy especializando en análisis de distribición de insectos patagónicos y anáñisis de la biología y genética de Andiperla (Plecoptera).
