Mi linea principal de trabajo es la fisiología de la calidad de granos, con énfasis en los factores del ambiente que regulan la calidad de granos y frutos oleaginosos (girasol, olivo, colza, carinata y trigo, entre otros). Los campos disciplinares que abarca mi trabajo son la fisiología vegetal, la ecofisiología de cultivos, la anatomía de frutos y la analítica de lípidos. Domino técnicas de análisis de lípidos en granos vegetales (extracción cuantitativa por soxhlet y fluido supercrítico, cromatografía de gases, cuantificación de fracción insaponificable). Mas recientemente abordé las respuestas de diferentes cultivos de grano a la combinación de estrés abiótico (principalmente térmico, lumínico, hídrico, nutricional y poblacional), con el objetivo de maximizar la captura y eficiencia de uso de recursos y la productividad de sistemas cultivados sustentables. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
