Soy bióloga botánica, me especialicé en el estudio de la Arquitectura de Plantas. Las especies con las que trabajo son leñosas nativas y algunas exóticas del Bosque andino-patagónico. Mediante el "análisis arquitectural" realicé mi tesis doctoral, donde aprendí técnicas forestales para medir árboles, contar las unidades de crecimiento, registro de la morfología a través de dibujos, etc. En mi Beca post-doctoral, realicé mediciones de variables fisiológicas (fotosíntesis, conductancia, transpiración) con un analizador LiCor 6400. Actualmente, en mi proyecto de CIC, relaciono aspectos de la morfología y la fisiología de los distintos tipos de ejes que conforman la arquitectura de los Nothofagus, y en otras especies de los bosques patagónicos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
