La línea de investigación en la que trabajo combina enfoques morfológicos y moleculares para comprender las relaciones filogenéticas, la evolución de características ecológicamente relevantes y las historias biogeográficas de grupos de plantas. En particular, trabajamos sobre el estudio de taxones con centros de diversidad en los Andes templados y regiones vecinas. Estas investigaciones tienen el objetivo final de plantear tendencias históricas en el origen y diversificación de la flora andina....
La línea de investigación en la que trabajo combina enfoques morfológicos y moleculares para comprender las relaciones filogenéticas, la evolución de características ecológicamente relevantes y las historias biogeográficas de grupos de plantas. En particular, trabajamos sobre el estudio de taxones con centros de diversidad en los Andes templados y regiones vecinas. Estas investigaciones tienen el objetivo final de plantear tendencias históricas en el origen y diversificación de la flora andina.A lo largo de los años me he especializado, principalmente, en sistemática y evolución de umbelíferas con énfasis en saniculoideas (género Eryngium) y azorelloideas.
