Actualmente, su investigación se centra en los mecanismos de evasión inmune y la patogenicidad de Staphylococcus spp. en la glándula mamaria bovina, además de explorar el uso de polisacáridos naturales, vitaminas y recursos de la microbiota como herramientas terapéuticas innovadoras para la reducción del uso de antibióticos en el tratamiento de la mastitis bovina.
