Conocimiento/manejo de técnicas moleculares útiles para diagnóstico y epidemiología de bacterias de importancia en salud humana y de interés agropecuario: técnicas microbiológicas generales (cultivo, recuentos, antibiogramas y CIMs, etc); PCR, qPCR, PCR-BOX, MLST, secuenciamiento de ADN por metodologías de última generación (454 pyrosequencing, Illumina). Ingeniería genética. Aislamiento de bacterias de suelo, caracterización bioquímica de bacterias promotoras de crecimiento vegetal, diseño de ensayos in vitro e in vivo para evaluar la capacidad de bacterias de suelo de promover el crecimiento vegetal. Bioinformática y bioestadística en etorno R. Microscopía óptica, de fluorescencia y confocal. Manejo de técnicas de cultivo microbiano y cultivo in vitro de plantas, de diagnóstico y caracterización de hongos de suelo mediante secuenciamiento de marcadores moleculares y técnicas clásicas de tinción.
