Walter Schroeder es Licenciado en Química y Doctor en Ciencia de Materiales por la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. Entre 2007 y 2008 realizó una estancia postdoctoral en el Departamento de Química de la Universidad de Toronto (Canadá), bajo la dirección del Prof. Mitchell Winnik. Durante este tiempo, utilizó la técnica de transferencia de energía no-radiativa basada en medidas de decaimiento de fluorescencia (FRET, Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) para estudiar el comportamiento de difusión de moléculas poliméricas durante la formación de filmes de látex. Actualmente, es Profesor Asociado de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata e Investigador Independiente del CONICET. Pertenece a la división Polímeros Nanoestructurados del Instituto de Investigaciones en Ciencia y Tecnología de Materiales (INTEMA). Sus líneas de trabajo están relacionadas con el diseño, síntesis y propiedades de materiales nanoestructurados basados en copolímeros de bloque autoensamblados y organización de nanopartículas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
