Mi experticia se centra en el uso de sistemas biológicos, especialmente microorganismos provenientes de áreas expuestas a baja temperatura (Antártida), con fines biotecnológicos. En ese contexto, exploré el potencial biotecnológico de microorganismos antárticos en diferentes aspectos, estudiando bacterias y hongos sicrófilos novedosos.Desarrollé sistemas de biorremediación de suelos antárticos contaminados con hidrocarburos, analizando la dinámica de las comunidades microbianas y la eficiencia ... Mi experticia se centra en el uso de sistemas biológicos, especialmente microorganismos provenientes de áreas expuestas a baja temperatura (Antártida), con fines biotecnológicos. En ese contexto, exploré el potencial biotecnológico de microorganismos antárticos en diferentes aspectos, estudiando bacterias y hongos sicrófilos novedosos.Desarrollé sistemas de biorremediación de suelos antárticos contaminados con hidrocarburos, analizando la dinámica de las comunidades microbianas y la eficiencia de diferentes estrategias de bioestimulación y bioaumento.Realice experimentos de biorremediación a campo en diferentes escalas, desde microcosmos en frascos hasta biopilas conteneniendo media tonelada de suelo contaminado contenido en membranas de alta densidad. Por otro lado, he realizado cultivos de microorganismos (bacterias y hongos) en fermentadores utilizando diferentes estrategias (batch, batch alimentado, cultivo en sustrato solido), tanto de micoorganismos mesófilos como sicrotolerantes.
