Mi principal interés científico es el estudio de los principios fisicoquímicos que determinan la estructura de las proteínas, su estabilidad y su plegado. También busco aplicar estos conceptos al estudio de la función proteica, en lo que se ha denominado biología estructural. Para este fin, empleo una variedad de técnicas experimentales para caracterizar proteínas recombinantes, incluyendo biología molecular, espectroscopía y cristalografía.
